Chris Pizzi

is a four-time Emmy Award-winning director, producer, writer, and executive. Known for his go-getter spirit and knack for innovation, Pizzi is a standout in both scripted and unscripted productions blending his unique vision with boundless creativity.

 

His portfolio is a testament to his versatility, from steering the ship as an Executive Producer and Director on series like Rob Riggle’s Ski Master Academy for Sony, to crafting unforgettable moments on FOX NFL Sunday with Riggle’s Picks. But his influence doesn't stop there; Pizzi's produced electrifying unscripted shows featuring icons like Shaq and The Impractical Jokers and helped orchestrate show-stopping spectacles like the Super Bowl and the Oscars.

Pizzi has worked with an abundance of the biggest stars in the world including two guys also named Chris: Rock & Pratt. He’s directed to name a few: Bill Murray, Adam Sandler, Conan O’Brien, Jane Lynch, Kevin Hart, Kristen Bell, Michael Strahan, Ken Jeong, Rob Riggle, Anthony Anderson, David Beckham, Marshawn Lynch and all of the Manning Brothers.

Pizzi began his career on FOX Sports' crown jewel, FOX NFL SUNDAY, working his way up producing on the live weekly show. He directed, co-produced and co-wrote all of FOX Sports’ branded content.

 

In 2016, Chris co-founded two production companies, his own Pizzi Bros. Media and Haunted Steel Mill with Riggle. 

Haunted Steel Mill's first two productions happen to have Riggle’s name in it, go figure: ROB RIGGLE’S SKI MASTER ACADEMY for Sony and ROB RIGGLE: GLOBAL INVESTIGATOR for Discovery; Pizzi executive produced and directed both shows in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

 

In 2020, Pizzi helped launch the Impractical Jokers pandemic inspired late night talk show, DINNER PARTY producing the series with Bongo Pictures and Turner and in 2021 Chris joined Shaquille O’Neal’s unscripted doc-series SHAQ LIFE as Co-Executive Producer.

In 2022 Pizzi became Showrunner for Prime Video's THE NFL PILE ON, hosted by SNL Alum Taran Killam. Chris took on double duties with Prime video as he became lead producer for Thursday Night Football with YOUTUBE stars Dude Perfect, winning an Emmy for their inaugural season.

 

Pizzi is also currently executive producing campaigns for NASCAR and Stand Up To Cancer.

 

Throughout his career in production Chris has worked with some of the biggest celebrities, pro athletes and brands and no one has threatened to kill him yet!

Chris resides in LA  with his wife Elizabeth, but was born in Philadelphia and raised as a ravenous sports nut.
