OBJECTIVE
My goal is to have a direct and positive impact on the growth of an organization through the
application of technology. I am an experienced software developer specializing in Web-based
business systems. I have 10 years of experience meeting the challenges of my employers and
their customers.
BACKGROUND
I have a history of working directly with top management of small organizations. They present
challenges or business opportunities to me, and I help them understand the technical measures
necessary to meet and even exceed their goals. I am very dedicated and self-motivated; I can
plan, develop and support complex systems by myself if necessary.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SENIOR PROGRAMMER, NATIONAL IN-STORE; SARASOTA, FLORIDA — 2004-2008
Developed RetailStream, National In-Store’s line-of-business and reporting system. This system
helped grow revenue from $20M to $40M over the course of three years. It managed all facets
of National In-Store’s retail service and marketing business, including coordinating the work of
thousands of independent contractors; aggregating and reporting the data collected from the
field to clients; and fulfillment of point-of-presence deliveries to the field.
Created data warehousing systems in Oracle for audits National In-Store conducted for Radio
Shack, CVS, The Home Depot, Texas Instruments, Virgin Mobile, and ESPN Mobile. These
systems were presented using Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Application Express, and Jasper
Reports.
Wrote two additional applications using Oracle Application Express. One was a sales tracking
tool for internal use, the other a system to coordinate in-store demonstrations among product
vendors, store managers, and corporate management of retail chains.
Integrated a fax & OCR system with RetailStream to accept bar-coded receipts directly from
retail locations to act as proof of execution to National In-Store’s clients.
Integrated Salesforce.com and Angel.com to automate call center operations in support of field
technicians servicing Pure Digital machines in CVS stores.

CHRISTOPHER J PIZZI
SENIOR SYSTEMS DEVELOPER, ACCESS ORLANDO & SEQUIAM SOFTWARE; ORLANDO,
FLORIDA — 1999-2004
Developed a variable-data printing system for National In-Store in order to bundle disparate
documents and reports into a single document and send them to a Heidelberg DHV9110
production printer. This introduced major efficiencies over the previous manual pick-and-pack
system.
Expanded the National In-Store's printing system to also include IVR- and Web-based data
acquisition and the operations management described above. National In-Store later recruited
me to work on RetailStream and other projects full-time.
Developed back-end and user interface for Internet Remote Print, a document management and
production system. This system allowed remote users to send large print jobs to a central print
or copy shop where the per-impression printing cost is much lower than desktop devices. The
defining characteristics of this system were the translation of user-selected paper, orientation,
and binding options to device-specific PostScript, and fine-grained cost accounting of each print
job. This system introduced significant printing cost savings in institutional settings such as
Seminole County Public Schools and Florida State University.
Performed telephone technical support for dial-up, hosting, and co-location clients for Access
Orlando, a small independent ISP.
JUNIOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR, TURBINE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES; ORLANDO, FLORIDA
— 1998-1999
Administered Windows NT file and Exchange servers that serviced users at corporate
headquarters and three off-site offices.
Sourced and assembled a data acquisition device built of programmable logic controllers. The
device, called Combustion Data Acquisition system, was deployed to a gas-turbine power plant.
Worked with telecommunication providers to maintain voice and data lines.
WEBMASTER, UNC LINEBERGER CANCER CENTER; CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA — 1997
Created and maintained the Center’s website in ASP. This site featured a small content
management system that allowed doctors and other professionals to maintain their profile on
the website.
CONSULTING; ORLANDO, FL –– 2003
In 2003 consulted for 540 Interactive, an Orlando-based design company. I designed the
MySQL database and wrote a PHP-based template interpreter for a job search board for
freelance pilots.
